What is Physiatry? 

Physiatry is a medical specialty that focuses on the functional aspect of medicine to give patients a better quality of life. We can work with patients in many inpatient and outpatient settings. We are not therapists (PT, OT, SLP) but rather work alongside them to optimize patient outcomes.

How can Physiatry help my patients?

• Pain assessments

• Ultrasound guided peripheral joint injections (steroid, hyaluronic acid, PRP)
